The very first open movie
Elephants Dream · Blender Foundation (Orange Open Movie Project)
Elephants Dream was the first film made entirely with open tools and shared freely with everyone, files and all. Two characters wander through a vast, strange machine world, and one of them sees it very differently from the other. The look is dreamlike and a little eerie, more puzzle than fairy tale. It is a landmark for anyone interested in animation and how films get made.

A word for families: the tone is surreal and slightly unsettling, more strange dream than cosy cartoon. Wonderful, but worth knowing before you press play with little ones.
